2024 was a year of tremendous growth! We humbly thank God for His favor and grace upon this ministry. He continues to trust us with more. I am often reminded of the parable of the minas in Luke 19. In that story, those who were faithful with little and multiplied it were then entrusted with much in the Kingdom—with cities to care for! This past year, God brought more than 1500 new trainees into our core disciple-making course, and we have now seen the release of 10 movements! As we head into the new year our hearts are full of faith for even greater things in the new year. For His glory!

Thanks to your incredible support during our “Dangerous Disciples” End of Year Campaign, we have raised nearly 80% of our goal! We are deeply grateful for every prayer, every time you shared our campaign on social media, and for your donations. These gifts empower us to move forward with exciting initiatives in the 2025 vision.
Let’s Celebrate What God Did in 2024!
Think about the impact DMI had in 2024:
We’ve launched 7 new movements this year! That means we now have 10 movements in total through DMI. Wow! That’s like planting a small seed and watching it grow into a big, strong tree, all for God’s Kingdom. Even more amazing, we have 19 locations with groups that have formed that are 4th generation or higher.
The numbers are wonderful, but what they truly represent is lives being changed. Just in the last six months, 4,030 new discipleship groups have started. These are small groups of people learning about Jesus together. And of those groups, 951 have grown into house churches! That’s incredible! This is happening in 118 nations all around the world. The good news about Jesus is spreading everywhere! And through all of this, 29,509 new disciples have been made! Praise God!
In 2024, our onsite trainings grew. We believe in training and helping leaders grow and the importance of connecting with our students in person as well as online. This year, 1,865 people took DMI courses to learn more about how to share their faith. We also held 20 trainings in 11 different countries, and 1,081 people participated.
Our students and alumni have also shared the gospel 114,649 times. That is so many lives being touched by God’s love.
And here’s something else that’s really encouraging: 65% of the people who have gone through our training are still involved in coaching others and connecting through WhatsApp groups. This means they are continuing to learn and grow, and they are helping others too. It is not just a one-time thing; it is a lasting investment in their lives and ministries. The Numbers Represent People Like the Daring Aysha
Aysha, a young woman from South Asia, dreamed of doing ministry. She had studied theology and even earned an MDiv, but practical ministry seemed elusive.
Then she discovered the Disciple Making Movements (DMM) course. The practical, easy-to-follow lessons made it easy for her to share her testimony and share it with her community. She learned about prayer walks, a concept entirely new to her. Now, she regularly prays for her neighborhood, seeking God’s guidance.
Inspired by the DMM course, Aysha gathered a group of 14 friends and colleagues. Also, she realized that distance should not be a barrier to sharing the Gospel. So, she created a WhatsApp group to connect with those she could not meet in person. Together, they pray and prepare to start a small group.
Key Priorities for the 2025 Vision: Expanding Our Reach and Impact
Here are some vital areas of growth we are prioritizing in the new year:
- Increasing DMI Extraordinary Prayer:
We believe that prayer is the engine of all we do. We will be creating new opportunities for our community to unite in prayer for DMI’s work, our trainees, and the spread of the Gospel. Would you join us? Prayer is powerful!
- Expand Onsite Follow-Up Training & Trainers:
We are committed to providing ongoing support and mentorship for our trainees. This means expanding our onsite follow-up training programs and equipping more trainers to walk alongside our graduates. We want to see them flourish as disciple-makers! In our 2025 vision, we are planning for Onsite training in 14 different nations. Please pray with us as we plan and facilitate these trainings.
- Complete Translations and Launch New Language DMI Courses:
Our Portuguese and Bangla translation projects are being rolled out. The Portuguese cohort is being organized. Meanwhile, our leaders are also casting the vision for the Bangla course with the Bangla speaking community. We are passionate about reaching people from every nation. And we are working diligently to translate our courses into more languages, making them accessible to a wider audience. This is a key step in fulfilling the Great Commission!
- Strengthen Coaching Systems and Increasing an Emphasis on Unreached and Frontier Peoples:
Effective coaching is essential for growth. We will be refining and strengthening our coaching systems to provide personalized guidance and support to our trainees as they launch and lead movements. Our hearts burn to see the love of Jesus reach those who have never heard His name. We will be strategically focusing our efforts on reaching unreached and frontier people groups, taking the light of the Gospel to the darkest corners of the earth.
